------------------------------- MINUTES -------------------------------------
Bob Ross conducted the meeting.
Weston Beal recorded the minutes.

Call for IBIS related patent disclosures:
 - None

Review of previous meeting minutes:
Minutes from the 23 May 2023 meetings were reviewed. Weston Beal moved to
approve the minutes. Randy Wolff seconded. Without objection the minutes were
approved.

Call for opens:
 - none

AR review:
 - IBISCHK720 – Test Randy’s 7.2 Files, Randy Wolff and Bob Ross work on two
BUG reports related to a Warning for a legal syntax and a Caution message
   for an [EMD Pin List].
   Done - BUG241 and BUG242
 - Bob will ask Atul about the warnings reported by the compilers and possibly
   create a different bug report.
Done email - need a bug report to include in next development contract.

New ARs:
 - Bob will create a bug report to correct compiler warnings as far as
   possible.
 - Weston will create a bug report to correct the text of the AMI executable
error to not say architecture but error in loading library.
 - Bob will upload the BUG241 report to the website and submit for approval at
   the next open forum meeting.
 - Randy will search for a test case to use for a bug report about [IBIS Ver]
in an IBS file referenced from and EMD file.

Discussion:
a. IBISCHK720 - BUG241 draft4
Randy sent draft3 to Bob and Bob edited it to make draft4. In essence, the
report changes removes 2 of 4 error messages. Bob's edits are to make text
and test files consistent with the bug number which is now assigned.
[AR] Bob will upload the bug report to the website and submit for approval
at the next open forum meeting.

b. IBISCHK720 - BUG242 draft4
Bob edited the report to show assigned number and make consistent names of
test files. Randy noted that currently there are 2 caution messages and
only one needs to be changed to an error. Bob will change this and create
draft5. The error applies to IBIS Ver 7.2 and later, because BIRD218, the
change to restrict NC pins in terminal lines was added to IBIS 7.2.

c. Pending BUG regarding Platform in AMI – Weston Beal will investigate
further and possibly propose two messages, one for static library, one for
   dynamic library.
[AR] Weston will create a bug report to correct the text of the error to
not say architecture but error in loading library.

d. Graham Kus Mathworks Warning message during architecture compile with:
“<file name> warning: variable ‘<variable name>’ set but not used
[-Wunused-but-set-variable] Michael Schaeder may provide some feedback
concerning gcc compilation. Curtis Clark’s suggestion. Bob get direct
input from Atul. Note, linux and Windows messages are different.
[AR] Bob will create a bug report to clean up code.

e. Quality Specification and checklist power aware discussion and [Merged Pin]
interactions (continuation). [Merged Pin] checked and is working properly.
Weston needs to clean the draft document and send to the task group for
   review.

f. Continue discussion on BUG228 message regarding Arpad Muranyi’s issue
   introduced on May 2, 2023.
The task group discussed this issue. The consensus is that the parser
should not check the actual [IBIS Ver] of the referenced IBIS file, but
check compatibility of the referenced [Pin Mapping] with the calling EMD
file. This will require a new bug report. [AR] Randy will search for a test
case to use for a bug report.

Tabled topics (no discussion without motion):
a.	Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL) investigation (Security fixes
    continuation), (TSCHK2, BUG6)
b.	TSCHK2 V2.02 BUG5 and BUG6 (implementation on hold)

Weston moved to adjourn. Randy seconded. Without objection the meeting ended.

Meeting ended: 1:00 pm ET

Next meeting 06 JUN 2023
